Rain Medley Song Activities

Music

Look at the White Dove Music Activity and then the You Can Squeeze an Orange Activity.

Children need to make a pile of the bits of their paper and place in front of them - ask children to stand up. Explain that once the music starts children can pick up their pile and throw the bits of paper or pretend raindrops over themselves, in time to the music. Children continue to pick up the raindrops and throw the raindrops over themselves.

When you hear the lyrics: 'When it's Pouring Rain' ask the children to jump onto the bits of paper and pretend the raindrops are puddles.

Resume back to collecting raindrops and throwing the raindrops over themselves.

When you hear the lyrics: 'One Little Raindrop' ask the children to pick up one rain drop and throw the raindrop up high just over themselves.

Resume back to collecting raindrops and throwing the raindrops over themselves.

For the last song Oh, Oh, Oh No don't Let the Rain Come Down ask children to gather lots of raindrops, stand close in a huddle, you the teacher count down 4,3,2,1 and everyone throws the raindrops up high at the same time. Repeat until the end of the song.

Green, Green the Grass is Green song. Place a bin or large bag in the middle of the children. Explain how once the music starts the children can collect all the raindrops and place them in the bin. The aim is to gather all the raindrops before the song has finished. Children need to be aware of their own space when collecting the raindrops and to be careful of bumping into other children. If all the raindrops are gathered before the end of the song, children can form a circle, hold hands and dance around in a clock wise direction.

At the end of the song the children can bow and give themselves a big clap.

Your songs are MP3 files that play on any phone, tablet, or computer. If anything doesn’t work, just reply to your order confirmation email and we’ll see if we can help.

Where can I find my downloads later?

Sign in to your account at account.lovetosing.com, go to Orders, open your order, and you'll see “Your music downloads” with a button for each item. Be sure to use the same email address you checked out with.

What file format are the songs?

Every song is delivered as a high-quality MP3 that plays on any phone, tablet, or computer — no special software or app required.

Do I need an account to download?

No — you can download straight away from your order confirmation page without creating an account. To get back to your files later, just sign in (or create a free account) using the same email you used at checkout.

I can't find my download or the button isn't working. What should I do?

First, check your spam or junk folder for your order confirmation email, and make sure you're signed in with the email you used at checkout. If you're still stuck, reply to your confirmation email or contact us and we'll send your files straight to you.

How do I download on a phone or tablet?

Tap the Download button and your song saves to your Files or Downloads app. On an iPhone, if the song starts playing instead of saving, tap the Share icon and choose “Save to Files”.

How many times can I download my purchase, and how long do I have?

You can download each item up to 3 times, and your download links stay active for 6 months from your purchase. That's plenty to save your music onto more than one device.

Once you've used all 3 downloads or the 6-month period has passed, you'll need to purchase the item again to download it — so we recommend saving your files somewhere safe as soon as you download them.

My download link expired or I've used all my downloads — can I get it again?

Download links stay active for 6 months and allow up to 3 downloads per item. If your link has expired or you've already used all 3 downloads, you'll need to purchase the item again to download it.

To avoid this, we recommend backing up your files somewhere safe as soon as you've downloaded them.

How do I know if I need a licence?

If you're only enjoying our songs at home, you don't need a licence. You need one when your church, school or organisation uses the music beyond personal listening — for example in services, classrooms, performances, or on screens.
