A Love to Sing music licence gives your church, school or organisation permission to use our songs in the ways your licence covers — so you can share the music with your community with confidence, without worrying about copyright.

Who needs a licence?

Churches, schools, early-childhood centres and other organisations that use our music beyond personal listening — for example in services, classrooms, performances, or on screens — need a licence. If you're just enjoying the songs at home, you don't.

What does my licence let me do?

Depending on the licence you choose, it typically covers using our music in your services, lessons and events, displaying the lyrics, and playing the recordings to your group. Your specific licence lists the exact permissions included.

How long does my licence last?

Your licence period is shown on your licence and certificate at the time of purchase. If you're unsure how long your cover runs, contact us and we'll confirm.

Does one licence cover all your songs, or is it per song?

It depends on the licence you buy — some cover our whole catalogue, others are for specific songs or collections. The details are shown when you choose your licence. Not sure which you need? Get in touch and we'll help you pick the right one.

Can I use the music on YouTube, a livestream, or social media?

Online and broadcast use — like livestreaming a service or posting to social media — may need specific permission. Tell us how you'd like to use the music and we'll point you to the right licence.

How do I receive my licence?

After you purchase, your licence certificate is issued to you so you have proof of your permission on file. If you can't find it, contact us with your order number and we'll resend it.

Do I still need a CCLI licence as well?

A Love to Sing licence covers the use of our music specifically. If you also use songs from other publishers, you may still need a general licence such as CCLI for those. If you're unsure, we're happy to help clarify.

How do I know if I need a licence?

If you're only enjoying our songs at home, you don't need a licence. You need one when your church, school or organisation uses the music beyond personal listening — for example in services, classrooms, performances, or on screens.
