Infant Holy, Infant Lowly

Infant Holy, Infant Lowly began as the traditional Polish carol W żlobie leży, whose melody may date back centuries. It was translated into English in 1920 by the British musician and writer Edith Margaret Gellibrand Reed, who gave it the tender, flowing verses now sung around the world at Christmas.
