Red Red Rose

Music
Fill 4 glasses with different quantities of water. Add red dye or food colour to each of the glasses.
Order the glasses from high to low sounds.
Play the song and use a pencil to tap the glasses in time to the beat (steady pulse) or rhythm (the short and long sounds that fit over an underlying beat). Try and match the pitch (the degree of highness or lowness of a note) of the song.

Visual Art
What is red? E.g. rose, apple, red ball
Draw, paint or make a collage.
Make a red rose out of red tissue paper.

Drama
Sometimes our cheeks go red because we feel embarrassed; or sometimes our go cheeks go red because we are very angry; sometimes our cheeks go red because we have been very active like riding our bikes or running fast.
Mime a scene which has made your cheeks go red for others to guess.
